Hello! My name is Ann Nguyen, and I am a freshman at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill this upcoming fall. I am very passionate about the research on antibiotics, and hope to be able to educate others and myself on the subject in the next few years. I plan to major in Public Health and work my way up to a Medical Doctor degree. While in high school I completed the dual-enrollment program with my local community college to receive my associates in science as magna cum laude, and completed my state certification as a nursing assistant. I am very passionate in giving back to my community through volunteering and passion projects. I hope to be able to continue volunteering and keeping up with projects while in college, and these scholarships would certainly mean a lot.
