My life goal is to become a neonatal nurse practitioner with the hope to help infants and their family members when they are in their most vulnerable times. In order to achieve my dream, I used to work as a health science intern, volunteer at a hospital, and work at a doctor’s office to further improve my knowledge, expertise skills, social and cultural competence, and other soft skills that will greatly contribute to my development in the nursing profession. In my free time, I enjoy reading books, learning new information, dancing, playing piano, and taking pictures. I also love to travel because traveling allows me to see the world in different perspectives, learn new life lessons, and create meaningful memories by being exposed to new places, people, and cultures. I believe that I can be a part of the change in this world and the healthcare system in particular. Awarding this scholarship will greatly help me further towards my nursing degree and my dreams!
