I am a dual-credit high school student at Round Rock Early College High School. Born and raised in the church, after I lost everything that I deemed important above God, which was only truly breaking me and leaving me empty, I got saved in August 2023, at 15. My life goals are to follow the Lord our God. I am passionate about devoting my whole life to Him from what I wear to what I say to what I do. I want to help and serve people and create an impact on those around me in a Christ-centered way.

A smile, a polite thank you, and helping brighten other people's day, are a few small things that inspire me to get involved, but one major factor in my life is Christ. I got saved 2 years ago and my life’s purpose is to worship God, to serve and follow Christ, to tell and bring people to Christ. Christ came as a servant to serve people, to serve those around him.
Christ is the ultimate example for me of what it means to be a servant of others and to put other's needs before myself. To love and care for others' needs, and to jump into action when there is a need. God is a loving caring God and I strongly believe that being of service to others is a privilege and one that I love to do. It gives glory to God and shares the love of Christ through actions towards others. As said in Matthew 5:16, "Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven".
When I first gave my life to Christ, all I wanted to do was to glorify God and to bring and share Christ with others on my school campus. I began to be open about Christ on my campus my sophomore year and spent whatever time I had reading scripture. As said in Acts 20:24, "But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God". Along with me wanting to live out Matthew 16:24, “Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.” In addition to school, I also began getting involved in church and my church’s internship by helping out in youth events, helping with children's ministry and helping out in whichever area needed help while gaining experience in church ministry.
Junior year, I began to expand and take a leadership role as a Jesus Club leader, which the club is affiliated with the Jesus Clubs organization that focuses on encouraging Gen Z to preach the Gospel at schools. In addition to continually being an intern and serving at my church. In any big school events, I have utilized the Jesus Club to bring happiness to people and serve the PTSA with any events.
Currently, in senior year, I am still doing the same things; church, internship, leading a club, serving my school and community, and another club, the Bible Study club. I hope to create a beneficial impact that not only brings smiles to people and brings people towards God but also brings Glory to God and reflects the heart of God. My current goal is to go into ministry and help my community, but most importantly serve God.

Nowadays, people want to live by their truth and guide their own lives by their own feelings and concepts. They want to live according to what they believe is right or what they, at least, like to think is right, blinded from the truth, God. In reality, in a spiritual sense, without God, people are guided by their hearts and their flesh.
Jeremiah 10:9-10 KJV, "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who could understand it? I, the LORD, search the heart, I try the reins, even to give to every man according to his ways and according to the fruit of his doing." Also in the book of Genesis 3:6, "When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it..." Living life guided by the heart and the flesh is not something to be taken lightly because it has consequences, eternal and spiritual consequences. When living by the flesh, it does not seem horrible, in fact, it may seem pleasing. But, out of God, living by our truth, that is where sin, brokenness, and destruction roar rampant, it is the spiritual fruit of the flesh. As said in Galatians 5:19-21 NIV, "The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions, and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like..." Out of Christ, people are walking in the flesh, guided by their hearts, are like those who walk with a veil.
2 Corinthians 3:13-18 NIV, "We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to prevent the Israelites from seeing the end of what was passing away. But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away. Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit."
There can be redemption through the death and resurrection of Christ. The biblical truth and God's truth is that no matter how many times we may fall or how stuck we are, we can find grace, freedom, and redemption in Christ. Galatians 5:13 NIV, "You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love." Galatians 5:22-26 NIV, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking, and envying each other."
God's truth is in the Bible and the Bible itself(John 1:1;14 & John 14:6). It is His promises, His new covenant, His character, actions, words, and heart. The ultimate difference between God's truth and our truth is that God has the ultimate authority, God's truth holds power, and His words hold power; He holds power over all things.
