As a student in this country now, the possibilities are endless, where I could choose whatever I want. Out of all those possibilities, I would like to become a child psychologist. One that'll help kids of all ages through whatever challenges they're enduring in their life. One that will be of good light and courage to them. And lastly, one that they'll never forget and take all I've told them on their journeys in life.

Bold Mental Health Awareness Scholarship
The best way to help people who are going through mental health issues is to just be there. Not all the time can we expect to go and tell someone struggling with their mental health that it's going to be okay because sometimes we can't guarantee that. So just being there for that person and ensuring that if they ever need assistance or help with anything, that you're there for them. Yeah, you could easily just tell them to go to a counselor or therapist but not everyone accepts their situation with open arms. So, I've learned through situations before in my life, that just calming them down and letting them know you're there to help if they need, that that is sometimes all they need, a friend.
And there have been countless situations around the world that mental health problems lead to whether its suicide or just depression from their mental state. So, sometimes we cant understand exactly what that person is going through and so the best thing in the end is to be the support to their bridge. Hold them up when they feel like they might collapse. And strengthen their bridge by making your support even stronger.
Giving your all in situations like that may help that person too seeing as you really seem like you care and want to help them, that they notice that and take your help willingly. Forcing someone is never what you want to do because people get to choose what they want in life so forcing is an option we should never use. So, whether it's a friend or maybe just a customer who seems to be down, just bringing their spirits up with your positivity might just be all they need in order to keep going.

"look at you, love.
still here and hopeful
after it all"
This excerpt is a part of the poem, "Resilience" by Alex Elle. Something that I learned from the whole poem is that no matter what we all go through, we can surely overcome them because we're stronger than the things that try to hurt us and the things that people try to name us with. And plus, I havent even been through my own mental health situation but I have witnessed countless people in my surroundings who needed some help or a person to be there and that's what I tried to be. The shoulder for them to cry on. I have a strong passion and belief that people truly don't deserve to have to go through anything mental or anything that might make them feel like they're different. We all deserved to be loved. And that's why becoming a child psychologist encompasses everything. In the same way that adults have a need to talk to someone, so do children and adolescents. Imagine as an adult, going through something terrible and you just cant handle it without telling someone, well children go through the same thing and probably have a hard time telling anyone how they feel. It's a strong feeling to me that kids shouldnt need to have to go through anything harmful to their mental health at such a young age so if I can help them in some way, I'd be happy. And that's why, looking at the state of the world and how the numbers of psychological and mental health issues have spread and gotten larger over the years and if I can help in some way, shape, or form, that would be all I want in life.
