Hello! I'm Annaleisa Veasey. I am a Denver, CO based woman who has spent her life at the intersection of creativity, care, and community and is now channeling all of it into a career in nursing. I grew up with a dermatologist mother who made medicine feel like a living, breathing thing, and that love never left me. After nearly a decade building a photography business and serving as Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging for a professional association, I walked into an Anatomy and Physiology classroom at Red Rocks Community College and felt, for the first time, like I was exactly where I was supposed to be. I am a licensed esthetician with clinical dermatology experience, a passionate advocate for people with disabilities, and someone who shows up to tutoring, asks every question, and genuinely loves this material. My long-term goal is advanced practice in nursing,and I am pursuing it with everything I have.
