I am an MS Environmental Sciences student at UMass Boston, focused on the green reconstruction of Ukraine. Witnessing the "environmental ecocide" in my homeland leveraged my geography background into a mission to lead ecological restoration through data-driven science. With expertise in GIS and cartography, I have already applied international urban planning standards to regional challenges in Ukraine. Since arriving in the U.S. in May 2024, I have proficient in academic English and joined the Mavrommati Lab to study the economic value of ecosystem services. I am a strong candidate because I combine Eastern European resilience with a commitment to scientific excellence and STEAM. My goal is to bridge American expertise with the environmental needs of post-conflict zones, ensuring that future infrastructure is sustainable, green, and resilient.
