My name is Anna and I'm an incoming freshman at the University of Missouri - Columbia! My number one aspiration is to pursue a field that combines both my interest in human psychology and my love of writing. I am greatly passionate about developing my own unique voice (both written and spoken) that is persuasive enough to advocate for others. I believe it's crucial for the youth of today to recognize history and our place in it, both the triumphs and mistakes. This is why I feel moved to pursue my desired fields; I want to better understand others and aid in projecting their individual stories. Continuing higher education for me means embracing the values of intellectual curiosity, academic drive, and integrity and empathy. For me, there is nothing more rewarding than completing and learning from a challenging task, which is why I believe I would make an excellent candidate for these awards.
