I think I want to study computer science or engineering because I have a talent for mathematics and analyzing data. I know that technology is something that will always be needed by society and I would like to contribute, even if it is only a little bit. I enjoy problem-solving and really look forward to learning more about computers and how they work. My personality is introverted and thoughtful, and a career in computer science would fit with the way my mind works and processes things. I also enjoy neat, organized, formulaic things, and if I can explore that using coding language, I would have a great time figuring things out and creating something new. I also am inspired by my dad, who is an engineer, and his father before him, who is a nuclear scientist. Both have enjoyed their careers, and since I have a similar personality to my dad, and find technology interesting, I figure I might as well go study and figure out if it's something I want to do! If not computer science, another thing I'd enjoy studying is music! I have loved music my entire life, and it brings me a type of joy that nothing else can. I have taken piano lessons for over 10 years, and have done choir for almost 8 years. I also have a talent for music, and I would enjoy diving deeper into the technicalities and learn more about the music industry, as well as performing. In conclusion, I'm not quite sure what I want to study yet, but I have a couple of directions I would like to go, and I'm planning on taking introductory courses on all of these subjects. If I decide that's what I enjoy and want to go into, then I'll continue learning and someday graduate and have a fulfilling career!
