Hello, my name is Aniya. I’ll be attending the University at Buffalo in the fall of 2026 with an undergraduate major in nursing. Following my graduation I plan to work in critical care nursing in the cardiac unit for at least 2 years to gain ICU experience, with the intention of becoming a CRNA. My experience growing up without my mother influenced me to pursue a career in healthcare, as I would like to be able to provide underserved communities and patients with quality care and guidance in regards to their health, since I know all to well how much of a challenge it can be trying to navigate such important matters with inadequate resources, or while lacking a strong support system.
