While the road to a diverse and equitable community is more complicated than thought, we need to establish two essential foundations to achieve such a goal. For one, it all starts with the education given at the fundamental level. From a young age, school is the number one way we introduce children and whole communities to the concepts of diversity and equity. Whether it's through learning about history, the culture of others, or simply seeing oneself represented in the material taught, that is the first exposure many have to diversity. Most inequity and lack of diversity in our communities stem from an inability of an environment to correctly expose such communities to those ideas. Changing our education system to normalize diversity in the material we teach and the classrooms we see is the first step forwards toward a more equitable community. And, of course, nothing is more inspirational to a child than seeing themselves represented in the classroom and beyond. Representation is key to giving many the confidence to pursue their aspirations. Allowing our youth to dare to dream about going above and beyond in their pursuits is what produces a more equitable society by normalizing it. The next piece to place is the matter of support. Organizations and schools must work together to provide support for these dreams and the support to be able to bring diversity to the classroom. Without assistance, dreams will remain pipe dreams. Schools across the nation are unfunded, overlooked, and practically discarded. Often, this affects minorities the most, stripping away equity in our communities through a lack of resources from a young age. It curbs opportunity for many. Thus, schools and organizations must support these endeavors through scholarships, grants, and money flowing into schools that need it. Monetary support isn't the only possible form of support. Mentors can connect young students with opportunities and provide valuable lessons, as well as organizations creating workshops tailored to help students be on track. Quality education with diverse representation may be the first step forward toward an equitable community. Still, assistance monetarily or otherwise is what makes it a tangible goal. Although the battle to create an equitable and diverse community is challenging, with diversity represented in classrooms and support through quality education and numerous resources, we are far from failing.

Questions, questions, and more questions. It's all about the questions. For me, the most crucial aspect of studying is to ensure the information is sinking into my head. The best way to go about it is to continually ask questions before I dive into studying the material, during it, and afterward as well. Questions ensure understanding. If one can answer questions about the subject well, or even ask good questions about the given material, they are already on track towards success. It showcases a good depth of understanding. It also helps me gauge what areas I need to focus on studying more and which I can sacrifice time for more effective actions. It's an efficient, effective, and proactive form of study. As a result, my study area could look like a tornado had gone through my room, with sticky notes strewn everywhere and my scribbles etched on each one. If I had a dime for every flashcard I created, I'd be the one in space, not Jeff Bezos. But I love my chaos, just as I love my endless questions and my unending interest in the subjects I study. It takes trial and error to find a particular study strategy befitting you. Yet this strategy of mine is both trial and error. One filled with adjustments and check-ins, always conforming to fit me. This is the little niche I inhabit and the hill I shall die on.
