I've recently changed my major from life science to computer science; so far, I've been extremely passionate about the tech industry and how much creativity there is to it. I've practiced programming outside of class and have been determined to learn more about the different coding languages. One of my favorite languages that I've had a lot of fun learning is python because a lot of it is data-based. I've also known some HTML code since I was in middle school. Currently, I'm starting to work as a waitress at a restaurant near me. Getting into the workforce and gaining experience, even from a different industry, is super important to me because common soft skills are easily applicable to the tech industry, and I strive to be welcoming.
