FinalistBio
I am currently a second year in the Pre-Health field as I would like to do medical work in multilingual communities. As a military child, I have moved seven times, attending eight different schools across four states and two countries, which has helped build my social skills, resiliency to change, and profound connection to diverse communities.
I love spending time with my friends and family, reading, and creating artwork. I also like to participate in art contests. I have won First Place(Painting) for DODEA Pacific Region Far East Creative Expressions Event 2021 and 2nd place for Cumberland County's Holiday Card Contest "A Season of Unity"
I was in HOSA and won 1st Place in the North Carolina Regional Conference Cultural Diversities and Disparities in 2022.
Recently in Summer 2024, I received the President's Volunteer Service Award.
Other clubs I am or have participated in: International Club(secretary Junior Year, Key Club, Interact Club, Red Cross Club, Asian American Student Association, National Art Honors Society, National Honors Society.
I was Freshman Representative and currently Public Relations for the Korean Undergraduate Student Association at the University of Georgia. I will be the Internal Vice President in my junior year.
