The internet will tell you that community means, "a group of people living in the same place or having a particular characteristic in common." However, you want my opinion on what I believe community means. In my honest opinion, a community is where a group of honest and hard-working people come together to pursue a common goal. Not a lot of people come together selflessly anymore, people seem to focus on themselves lately. They don't know the feeling someone gets when they do a good thing for someone else without wanting something in return, luckily I do. In July 2021, I went on a Mission Trip to a Domestic Violence Shelter in North Carolina. It was a heartwarming experience, nothing feels better than helping those in need. Therefore, I believe that a community is a group of selfless people coming together to make a change in the world and to work together on a common goal.

I believe that if I have a good state of mental health, it would be much easier for me to concentrate on my life goals, and desire to accomplish those goals. In the past and sometimes even now, I have struggled with mental health. However, I always overcome my problems and insecurities to become a better and stronger version of myself. Although I can't take full credit when it comes to defeating bad mental health, my family and friends supported me and continuously helped me through it all. Therefore, I can't claim I did it alone. I maintain my mental health by focusing on the positive things in life instead of the bad. I push away all the stress and anxiety and work on accomplishing my goals.
