Hello, my name is Angelina Garcia. By winning the scholarship, I will be confident about achieving my career goals, not just completing a project but also laying a foundation for the future. Earning a college degree is important to me. A degree in Mental Health is my goal. Even if I receive this scholarship award, I will achieve my career goals in psychology. I am the first member of my family to attend college. Budgeting and managing money effectively are two things I have always been passionate about. Further, I would like to share my experiences of growing up in a non-family environment with others in financial crisis. My future career goals include becoming a mental health group therapist, advocating for those in need, and resolving issues. A scholarship would help me. Moreover, I will prove that I am an outstanding student and knowledgeable about psychology.
