Hello I am 34 years old and I am currently a full-time online student at California Baptist University. It is my second semester there, and I am taking online courses because this allows me to take care of my two children. I am a single mother of two, juggling a part-time job, following an educational journey, and the toughest yet most rewarding job of all, being a full-time mom. I am the first of my generation attend college, my parents only made it to Elementary school. Before I was born they migrated from Sinaloa, Mexico to the United States of America in search for a better and different life. I am very proud of my culture and my family background, that is why I proudly fluently speak, read, and write in the Spanish language and try to keep my family’s traditions alive. Attending a University seems more like a dream, because financially it can at times feel impossible, but by working hard and making some sacrifices I am here, and will push forward until I reach my goals.
Thank you, for taking the time to read my bio.
