Angela Wang is a passionate activist and leader, dedicated to amplifying the voices of the youth. Born and raised in Milwaukee, many of her passions stem from the inequality of opportunity she sees in her city. As the Milwaukee Youth Poet Laureate, she organizes writing workshops and hosts poetry readings, inspiring communities with her storytelling. A longtime volunteer, she is driven to expand access to education, fight food insecurity, and advocate for underrepresented groups. Angela also loves playing tennis and is an individual state champion. She played 1 singles all four years and led the team to two team state championships. Angela plans to study Applied Mathematics in college.
