I am passionate about advancing the field of artificial intelligence, particularly in how machine learning can be applied to solve complex, real-world problems in transportation and beyond. My life goals are twofold: to become a leader in the AI/ML space, pushing the boundaries of innovation, and to use that expertise to build technologies that improve safety, efficiency, and equity in society. I want my work to bridge the gap between research and impact—ensuring that cutting-edge ideas can truly serve people in meaningful ways.
What drives me most is curiosity and a desire to make systems smarter, fairer, and more resilient. Whether it’s developing new methods for traffic prediction, designing scalable AI infrastructure, or applying machine learning to national-scale challenges, I am motivated by the idea that my contributions can directly improve lives.
I believe I am a strong candidate because I combine technical expertise with persistence and vision. I’ve developed deep skills in machine learning, optimization, and large-scale data analysis through my PhD research at Carnegie Mellon, while also proving my ability to translate abstract theory into practical, high-performing solutions. Beyond technical skills, I bring grit, creativity, and a commitment to excellence—the qualities that will allow me not only to succeed personally but also to give back to the broader community I am a part of.
