My wildest dream is to establish a Research and Development Firm dedicated to exploring the fields of Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, and Biomechatronics. Within this firm, one of our most important projects would involve creating prosthetics that accurately replicate the intricacies of the human musculature. Our goal is to provide users with an experience that closely resembles having an organic limb, achieved through a seamless connection between their mind and synthetic muscles. Furthermore, we aim to reduce the cost of these prosthetics by researching new materials, mechanical systems, and manufacturing techniques. By making them accessible to a larger population, we can ensure that more people can benefit from this identical experience. Recognizing the scale of this dream, I understand that this, presumably, will not be my first entrepreneurial venture. To fund this ambitious endeavor, I may need to establish another impactful, smaller-scale company. As a university student majoring in Mechanical Engineering with minors in Computer Science and Biology, I am acquiring the foundational knowledge required to pursue my dreams. Through my courses, I am gaining a deep understanding of engineering principles, design, anatomy and physiology, as well as coding and artificial intelligence. Additionally, I have been fortunate to participate in Undergraduate Research at my university, which has provided me with valuable insights into the tasks and skills necessary to conduct successful research and development. This experience has furthermore helped me identify what works well and what doesn't in the research process. College has proven to be a nurturing environment for personal and professional growth, offering numerous opportunities that align with my goals. A few such opportunity is the availability of internships and study abroad programs. By participating in an internship program, I can gain invaluable insights into how companies are managed and operated. When I secure an internship with a prosthetics-focused company, I can further enhance my understanding of the industry's challenges and gain industry-specific knowledge. Additionally, studying abroad would expose me to different cultures, providing fresh perspectives and ideas for improving existing processes in the United States. Another significant aspect of college life is the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals with high hopes, ambitious dreams, and the drive to make them a reality. Surrounding myself with individuals who are determined to turn their dreams into reality has been a tremendous blessing. Moreover, the connections and friendships I have forged with people from various fields have presented me with invaluable opportunities for collaboration and exchange of knowledge. These connections create an environment of encouragement and inspiration, fueling each other to strive for our dreams. My big dream of establishing a Research and Development Firm in the domains of Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, and Biomechatronics drives my educational pursuits. My studies in mechanical engineering, computer science, and biology are equipping me with the necessary skills and knowledge to realize my dreams.
