I’m Analia! I hope to work somewhere in the animation industry in the future. Creation, especially in association with technology, has always inspired me, despite the devaluation of art. The world and its stockholders are screaming at me to give up my dreams. “Art is not valuable when a machine can create it quickly and effortlessly.” Ironically enough, though, the qualities that make it so "great" will lead to its downfall. Struggle: Limitations and imperfections are what create human culture. Humans have no drive to create anything in a state of compliance or satisfaction. When we are bored, we make games, we make art. When we need something to aid our lifestyles, we forge tools, build structures, we make art. What separates humans from animals? Art. We are the only species that create, create during prosperity and despite famine. Because when we need to convey how we feel, we make art. It is what makes us human. I’d like to leave my art behind. Preferably, my own animated show, weaving my feelings in it like the many artists before me, so that essentially I will live forever. I would be part of humanity’s creations. A small drop of art that can be appreciated, replicated, and referenced over time. Though inevitably, humanity will go extinct. Whether by nature or our own hands, that collection of humanity, our structures, our games, our tools, and our stories, will be evidence that we loved, that I loved the world and everything in it.
