Hello my name is Ana Vereb, I live in Butler Pa and I am attending Slippery Rock University. I will be majoring in Biotechnology. This major you are able to work in either Hospital labs or Forensic Labs, and will be studying the DNA, and genes of the body and what all the body has to offer. I love studying the body it is very satisfying in so many different ways. I would love to work in the forensic part because I feel that it is a way how you can help a family out. I love children and people in general and I feel as if not many people want to help out others now. I feel as it is very important, my grandmother Eileen had breast cancer and passed away when I was 3 years old. I didn't know her to well but I know that I was well loved and adored by her. In a way I feel as if I can help someone else's family and find out what is going on with there genes it would be a huge help. Because even though I wasn't able to really know my grandmother it may give someone the chance to know there's. Life is a very blessed thing and people take it for granite. You never know what may happen today or tomorrow but that's why I like to say just live your life to its very fullest. My major may switch during college but no matter what I will be helping people. Later in life when I have gotten a job and have a family I would like to start up a business. I would love to have it be with something of finally why cancer hit's so many people and possibly while the mother is caring the child, and they are questioning if the child may have something before it is even born. So, the parents would no and when that beautiful child comes we can treat it as fast as possible. Because every life is a blessing some may go sooner than others and it's awful, they had the chance to breathe even if it was just once God had given them the chance and hope. I know that this essay may be hard to read I don't personally know what had happened to Avani but just know she seems like such a wonderful girl, with lots of love to give. And I am very proud to had read about her and not personally meet her but physically.

I have been dancing since I was 3 years old at Fairgrieve School of Dance. In third grade we could start doing Hip-hop which is more of a groovy, fun type of dancing. My hip-hop teacher Mrs. Erin is a super outgoing, energetic, fun person who everyone loves. If you are quiet she is the one to put you in the front and make you strut and dance like nobody is watching and that it's just you on stage. I was a very shy kid not when I was with my friends but in a big crowd I would never be the one to talk in public. I remember we were doing this one dance and Mrs. Erin said "Ana you get your butt up here." So, I did and I was so nervous but she made me feel like I could do anything. All of the teachers at my studio are all big on being you and don't care if someone is judging you, just have fun. Growing up I was always different I have a darker skin tone than most and everyone always bullied me for it. At dance I could be myself and no one would ever judge me on it. I was like everyone else. every week growing up at my dance studio they would give us a speech on how we are all different people and no one wants be the same because if we were all the same there would be no fun and difference in this world. I take all the talks they had given us to heart. Never once had I forgotten it. And when it was time for recital that year a weight had been lifted off of my shoulders. I was a changed girl and let me tell you I was breaking it down on that dance floor. Now everywhere I go where you can dance I will be there dancing my heart out, and not caring who is watching. I believe everyone deserves to have speeches like those every once in a while. It helps you come out of the shell that you were once in, and it's an incredible feeling. Now, I'm on my senior year at the studio and I am in the front for hip hop and we are all having a blast together. Even though we were all once shy Mrs. Erin had never given up on us and I greatly appreciate every single thing she has done for me.
