I am a skilled sociology graduate who finished summa cum laude with highest distinction and was voted as one of the six elected for the Outstanding Undergraduate Student Award out of the December 2019 graduating class. I am currently employed at a mental health organization teaching high-risk youth and adults coping skills to help manage their mental health diagnoses and crisis situations. I am extremely passionate in pursuing a career in social work to apply decolonized practices of trauma-responsive and inclusive care to all individuals and groups. I will be attending the University of Colorado Colorado Springs starting Fall 2021 for my masters in social work.
