I am a senior in high school looking to become a physicians assistant. I live with a single mother who is an elementary school teacher and has pushed my to dream big. I want to go to college to make a difference in my community by being a bilingual health care worker who can communicate and better inform about public health to the under represented Hispanics. I also want to prove to myself that a Hispanic woman coming from a low income home can achieve more than what is expected.
