From my earliest memories at home, my mother instilled in me the importance of believing in God and His miraculous ways. I firmly believe that the world is in His hands, and through His guidance and faith, He shapes our lives. "Walk by faith and not by sight" is a principle I've always been taught – to trust in God, and He will carry me through. The past year has been a whirlwind of challenges and trials, each one testing my resilience and resolve in ways I never imagined. Losing my mother just two months after welcoming my son was a devastating blow, one that left me reeling with grief and uncertainty. While mourning her loss, I found myself facing additional hardships, including two surgeries within six months. Balancing the demands of college, work, and caregiving while grappling with personal loss and health challenges was no easy feat. There were moments when the weight of my responsibilities threatened to overwhelm me, but I refused to let adversity define me. As each day passed, I grew stronger and more resilient, finding solace and strength in the love of my child and the support of my loved ones. These experiences tested my strength and endurance, pushing me to my limits both physically and emotionally. Another reason for my strong faith is witnessing my grandmother's resilience in overcoming breast cancer twice. Additionally, despite facing a history of seizures, I received a clean bill of health at 17 years old after my head scan came back normal. However, this victory was not without its challenges. Every three months, I had to travel two hours to see my neurologist, adding another layer of complexity to my already demanding schedule. At one point, I had to undergo testing that involved wearing a bunch of wiring on my head. I felt embarrassed to wear it at school, facing questions and curious stares from my peers. During this time, I struggled to understand why God put me through these trials. However, I have come to believe that God gives hard tasks to some of His strongest soldiers. These challenges have tested my faith and resilience, shaping me into the person I am today. Through multiple hardships, I have found that God continues to provide for me. Overall, I believe that God created me with a purpose and a passion. He has given me the vision to pursue an education in the medical field to spread His word and touch people's hearts. My passion is to create a safe space for my child and the people around me, guided by the unwavering faith that sustains me through life's trials. Through it all, I remained steadfast in my commitment to pursuing my education and advancing my career goals. Despite the setbacks and challenges, I continued to attend college and excel in my studies, fueled by a determination to create a better future for myself and my son. My experiences have taught me the importance of adaptability, perseverance, and compassion – qualities that will undoubtedly shape my journey as I pursue my career goals in the field of Radiography. As I continue my journey, I am committed to honoring the memory of my mother by living a life filled with purpose and meaning. I am grateful for the lessons learned and the strength gained through adversity, and I am determined to use my experiences to inspire and uplift others. With unwavering faith and an indomitable spirit, I am confident that I will overcome any obstacles that come my way and achieve my dreams.

Every experience, both joyful and challenging, has shaped me into the person I am today. However, if given the opportunity, the one thing I would change is having my mother by my side. Her presence and guidance would have provided invaluable support as I navigate through life's ups and downs. 2.STEM, the amalgamation of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, captivates my curiosity and ignites my passion for understanding the world around me. Engaging in teamwork fosters a sense of camaraderie and shared purpose, as we come together to tackle complex challenges and create innovative solutions. The process of problem-solving, fueled by collective brainstorming and experimentation, is both rewarding and exhilarating. Within STEM, information technology plays a pivotal role in revolutionizing various industries, including healthcare. Life can be a straight roller coaster or it can be confusing. My mother passed away two months after I had my son, Archi. My world crumbled into pieces and I felt like I lost everything. My mother helped provide my school supplies and books. I no longer have that help. I am determined to get through anything that life throws at me. My plan is to continue my education to provide a great environment for my son and I. My main job every single day is to provide for my son. I aspire to be half the person my mother was. It has been difficult trying to navigate motherhood and maintain college. Working a job while going to school is hard. I wish I had the time to come home after school and relax most days. I commute to my university almost twice a week if not more. I have been commuting an hour and thirteen minutes to my university since my freshman year. As a result, I know that one day my hard work will soon pay off. I enjoy helping people and coming from a small town, it’s something I'm used to. I have spent most of my childhood driving back and forth to the doctor. Meeting lots of health professionals along the way. Each doctor or nurse that I came across always provided a safe space. Those people treated me with so much kindness and I looked up to those professionals. Being around that environment all the time made me realize it’s something I would like to be a part of. People usually say that they get into healthcare to change or save lives. I believe it’s more than just saving a life. It’s making a difference in the community and in the environment. I know that being in the healthcare field takes a lot of dedication and strong communication.
