The first time someone told me I could do anything I wanted with my life, I was 27 years old. Not having heard that in my youth, I spent years struggling with my mental health. It took time, growth and a lot of inner work to unlearn the limits I had internalized. I’m passionate about showing people what no one showed me: that they’re capable, worthy and powerful. It is my dream to become a psychiatrist, so I can expand that impact for those who have been made to feel like they are not enough. While it's taken me a long time to reach this stage, I am deeply grateful for the experiences that have shaped the person I am today. The hardships I have faced have given me the space and knowledge to connect with people of all ages and backgrounds because I know what it's like to feel isolated, alone and unheard. That alone is a superpower. As such, I am deeply committed to letting others know they are not alone.
