Hello! My name is Amber and I live in MS. I'm currently working to finish a bachelor's degree in counseling psychology. My next goal is to achieve a master's degree in clinical psychology. I would like to teach at a college while getting my doctorate degree, and would then like to focus on Christian counseling, helping others through difficult times while also helping them to strengthen their relationship with Christ. I'm currently an advanced EMT and have 12 years experience working on an ambulance, along with 6 years of management experience. I take patient care and advocacy extremely serious. At 34 years old, I returned to college to pursue a degree in a field I'm very passionate about. Since returning to school I have overcome many obstacles, enduring many trials, while maintaining a 4.0 grade point average. I continue to meet all requirements and deadlines and I am very motivated to not only achieving my goals, but maintain excellence while doing so. I am determined to set an example for my children, expressing the importance of education. I would love to one day mentor psychology students, offering guidance and support. I'm a member of a women's advocacy group, assist in women's ministry, attend church regularly, and volunteer during the summer to teach vacation bible school. Most importantly, I'm a mother to two wonderful little boys who I am rearing to impact the world in a positive way.
