Bio

I am an oncology/infusion nurse with three years of oncology experience caring for patients and families navigating the challenges of cancer diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship. Prior to working in oncology, I worked as an ICU RN during the COVID-19 pandemic. Working in rural Maine has shown me firsthand how limited access to specialty care can impact outcomes, and it has fueled my commitment to making high‑quality oncology services more accessible to the communities who need them most. I am currently enrolled in a graduate Nurse Practitioner program, where I am expanding my clinical skill set and preparing to take on a more advanced role in patient care. My long‑term goal is to become an Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP), allowing me to provide specialized, evidence‑based care and advocate more effectively for my patients. I am driven by compassion, a love of learning, and a deep belief in health equity. As I continue my education and career, I hope to remain in rural oncology practice—bringing expert, patient‑centered care closer to home for underserved populations.
