I decided I wanted to be a Physician Associate (PA-C) during my undergraduate education at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA.
Since then I have continued working as an EMT and Emergency Department Technician, volunteering, and shadowing in pursuit of this goal. These past two years, working on the front lines and in COVID vaccine clinics across several counties further affirmed my commitment.
Enrolled to begin in June in the MEDEX PA Graduate Program at University of Washington, I cannot wait to delve so much deeper into medical practice, while also gaining increasingly relevant knowledge about local and national health care policy. I hope to utilize learning opportunities and community connections that MEDEX offers in order to be able to give back to my Pacific Northwest community in a more significant way.
