Hi, my name is Amaya, and I am a high school senior from Philadelphia, currently attending Friends' Central School. I am committed to Eastern University as a nursing major and for track and field. I come from a large, hardworking Jamaican family, and I strive to carry on this ethic in college and beyond. Due to the size of my family and the heavy load of college costs, I am looking for scholarships to assist me in my attendance at Eastern University as a first-generation college student.
