Bio

Hello! My name is Amari Herndon-Goodman, and I am currently a sophomore at Washington University in St. Louis, majoring in Planetary and Earth Sciences with a minor in Geospatial Science. I am also a member of the Kessler Scholars Program, which provides support to foster academic, personal, and professional development. As a first-generation college student, the program has not only provided me with invaluable guidance but also empowered me to offer support and mentorship to others navigating their own college journeys. At WashU, I am dedicated to exploring diverse perspectives and learning from a wide range of experiences. My academic pursuits are driven by a passion for understanding the Earth and our place within the broader cosmos, driving towards advancements in technology and enhanced understanding of our place in the universe. Through my studies and involvement in the Kessler Scholars Program, I am committed to growing my perspective in a different view, and to contributing positively to my community while gaining insight into the diverse backgrounds of those around me.
