What does design mean to me? Design means equality, diversity, texture and expression. I expressed myself through fashion design. Fashion design has always been a safe place for me because I can really show how I’m feeling inside my head in my clothing with color, texture, and length. Cuting fabric, up-cycling denim and using cricut design space are some ways i show design as seen in the pictures i submitted. When I was in seventh grade, I attended to school for creative and performing arts and majored in costume and make up where then learn to sew and learners all about my field. How I would take my career and fashion design, is go to University of Cincinnati for fashion design in the DAAP building and network and build relationships with co-ops that I would be in. Also still so on the side and build my portfolio, Only to become a big worldwide fashion designer have my own brand and be where all the luxury and expensive stores are just how I imagine. Starting off small and gradually becoming big this would also help me retire my mom.
