Bio

Hello! I am a rising senior at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Pursuing my bachelor's degree in nursing. I aspire to work in the Pediatric ICU and pursue an Advanced Practice Nursing Degree. I would describe myself as being very ambitious, dedicated, and persistent. I feel strongly about healthcare which is why I've decided to pursue Nursing as a career. I enjoy volunteering at the local Champaign-Urbana Shelters and Soup Kitchens. I've played the piano since I was 12 years old and I enjoy teaching piano lessons to children and young adults. I work as a Certified Nursing Assistant at a local hospital on both the Cardiac-Medical and Psychiatric Floor. I enjoy reading literature and contemporary texts. During my undergraduate studies I was nominated to be a James Scholar for holding a high GPA along with the creation of multiple community service projects every year. I enjoy traveling which is how I learned to speak Spanish.
