Bio

I have spent the last 13 years navigating the business world, but have always known that helping others find their way through the complexities of life is my true calling. For many reasons, now is the time to turn my dreams into reality. I will beginning a Clinical Counseling Master’s program in Fall 2022. My goal is to own a mental health clinic working with trauma; helping others understand the ‘why’ behind their behaviors and partnering with them to work toward living their most integrated and authentic lives. Within that space, I am particularly drawn towards clients and families struggling through addiction and substance abuse, specifically those from blue-collar communities that often believe suffering is a sign of strength and trust no form of external help. Longer term, I have intentions of incorporating other modalities such as somatic experiencing, EMDR, IFS, mindfulness, and psychedelic medicines into my practice. Going back to school is a leap that offers a lot of risk and has required a tremendous amount of courage, but the calling is clear that the time is now.
