I possess a desire to explore the sciences in the medical field. My immediate goal is to gain a solid foundation in biology, explore my academic strengths, and further my education in a specific branch of medicine. My patient and empathetic nature are due to my familial experience with individuals living with disabilities. This lived experience has allowed me a deeper understanding of how to communicate with people. My experiences also attribute to the advocacy with which I have had the privilege to become introduced to and am currently active with. I have a personal interest in the advancement of both physical and mental health for all. I am passionate about education and research on how biological processes can be enhanced through science. My intention to further medical advancements made by previous scientists that held a personal stake in the health and happiness of humankind is what makes me a candidate for your consideration.
