Bio

My main goal in life is to discover independence and help others do so as well. I grew up in a hostile and disadvantaged environment, which left me feeling hopeless at times. Still, I found the strength within me to conquer these obstacles, succeed, and inspire those around me. I started my own rabbitry business and strived to create show quality rabbits to help others on their 4-H journey. Also, I began playing the cello as a way to focus my attention on something beautiful and productive. However, my dream is to start a non-profit charity for our youth who are also living in an abusive or hostile environment with few resources. I strive to achieve this goal because I know how difficult it is to start life at a disadvantage, and I want to help others work their way up and achieve their academic or other life goals.

Growing up in a hostile environment with few resources available to me, I didn’t think it was realistic to make something of myself. Nonetheless, as a child with great perseverance and passion amidst my environment, I knew I must achieve my goals. At age 14, I managed to create my own rabbitry business. I had intentionally saved up a small sum of money over the years to work towards this goal. Taking advantage of the few resources I had, I began forming connections with other rabbitry owners on social media and learning about show standards and how I could participate in 4-H. My breeding program began with two rabbits who I had deemed show quality through my rigorous research. Whether I was at school or home, I was thinking about how to biologically progress my rabbit’s lines, what online rabbit shows I could participate in, and which rabbits I could sell to others in need of a strong start for their 4-H journey. As I did not have any support at home, I had to force myself to gain independence and take full responsibility for my business. This provided me with personal development, but most importantly, it encouraged me to establish connections within my community. From a young age, I was able to be an active member in my community by helping others start out and progress their own businesses. This outlet nearly saved my life, as it gave me something to actively work towards. It taught me that getting too involved in what might be occurring in the moment will only hold you back. Every single person on this earth is capable of having a future in which they personally deem successful, whether that’s through spreading love, forming their own business, or becoming a philanthropist in their community. Still, it can be very difficult for many people to believe this because of the environment they might be trapped in. I believe it is my purpose to to help others believe in the power their minds hold. Life is about one’s mindset. I would not have gotten where I am today if I didn’t believe in myself. Truly, in growing my business, I grew as a person. In the future, I strive to attain an education in economics and build a larger business that I can use to help the people in my community. This has always been a dream of mine.
