Bio

Thank you so much for these opportunities! I am currently work for a company in the outdoor industry, focusing on outfitting all people for adventures in the outdoors. My focus is in an urban area and the emphasis is on inclusivity in the outdoors. I have just graduated with an MBA for the Outdoor Industry. I hope to keep finding my niche in this industry and making outdoor sports more welcoming and accessible to all. I am focused on creating outdoor programs for peopel who live in cities, while simultaneously studying the global supply chaing and investigating ways to make it more sustainable. My focus project is reesarching and publishing information on a regenerative framework for global supply chain networks and increasing the understand of key players participating in the circular economy. I will be the first person in my family to get an advanced degree and I am excited to do this for them. Personally, I am excited to push myself to new limits in the outdoor realm this year. Some of my personal goals this year: - increase my running distance by running a 50k and a 50 mile - hike the tallest mountain in Maine - travel to California to try Pacific surfing (love Atlantic surfing) - design a product for the outdoors using repurposed trash found in the global commons, increasing to the circular economy. I would love to receive any scholarship that allowed me to continue learning and living in the outdoor industry.
