WinnerBio
I’m someone who learned early that hard work and resilience matter more than perfect circumstances. Life’s challenges pushed me to grow stronger, stay focused, and work toward building a better future for myself and my family.
I’m pursuing trade and technical education because I believe in creating a stable career through skill, discipline, and hands-on work. I take pride in being dependable, learning quickly, and helping others through quality service and problem-solving.
I’ve also worked to build my own handyman and service business, which has taught me responsibility, professionalism, communication, and the importance of earning trust through hard work. Entrepreneurship showed me the value of persistence and self-belief.
What makes me stand out is my determination to keep moving forward regardless of setbacks. I use every obstacle as motivation to improve and create opportunities for myself. My goal is to build a successful career, support my family, and eventually help others from difficult backgrounds realize they can succeed too.
This scholarship would help me continue my education and invest in a future built on ambition, discipline, and hard work.

Rob Novak Memorial Automotive Technology Scholarship
WinnerI have chosen to pursue a career in the automotive technology industry because I have always enjoyed working with my hands, solving problems, and helping people. Cars are something most people rely on every day for work, school, and caring for their families. When a vehicle breaks down, many people cannot afford the high repair costs charged by some shops. I want to become an automotive technician so I can provide honest, reliable, and affordable services to people who truly need help.
My long-term goal is to open my own automotive repair shop that focuses on quality work at fair prices. I want my business to be known for treating customers with respect and not taking advantage of them during difficult situations. I believe everyone deserves access to dependable transportation without having to worry about overpriced repairs. By learning advanced automotive technology and gaining hands-on experience, I will be able to build a career that not only supports me financially but also allows me to give back to my community.
This scholarship would help me achieve my goals by reducing the financial stress that comes with pursuing my education and training. It would allow me to focus more on developing my skills, earning certifications, and gaining the knowledge needed to succeed in the automotive industry. Receiving this support would bring me one step closer to opening my own shop and making a positive difference in the lives of others through affordable automotive repair services.
