Allison ‘Alice’ Tran is a rising sophomore at Brookfield High School. She is strongly passionate about uplifting communities that involve and surround her and strives to better the world. Alice takes pride and joy in social service. Whether it’s with the elderly or advocacy, it is worth doing if it helps others or just one person. Aside from service, she thoroughly enjoys academia, particularly humanitarian subjects, and thrives in studying real-world issues and writing. Alice also founded and serves as president for Been Beautiful, a nonprofit organization working to normalize mental health amongst those from all backgrounds as well as promote self-love for the body and mind. She hopes for Been Beautiful to impact others across the globe, uniting others to work towards a common goal of spreading a positive message that encourages different communities to embrace themselves as the beautiful people they are—inside and out. Additionally, she serves as the chapters director for Asian Together, a culture and mental health organization dedicated to empowering Asians and removing stigma surrounding Asian communities. In the future, Alice hopes to enter a field that contributes to a bettered world and helping those in need.
