Bio

Hello! A bit about me is that I've discovered a passion for environmental studies and overall advocacy for change surrounding the climate crisis. Other passions of mine include engaging in media such as books, movies, and music. That being said, my life goals include furthering my education post-high school, having a career in something to do with the environment, and aiding in solving climate change. I believe to be a great candidate for your scholarship because every penny will be used to further the education that in the future, will help me better aid others around the world. As a child of immigrants, I enormously value education and know that it greatly shapes our world's future. I am always up for learning about a variety of different topics, as learning is an asset that we as people can use to better our world.

    #Back2SchoolBold Scholarship
My #Back2SchoolBold moment was inspired by my encouragement for others to take action against climate change. I want to convey that yes, the situation we're in may seem scary at times, but we have the ability to change the trajectory we're on by using our voices so those in power enact policies to help curve dire climatic consequences. My attached Pinterest board displays beautiful pieces of artwork, photography, and information related to environmentalism and climate change that I find compelling. I hope that it exposes anyone who comes across it to the urgency of the climate crisis but also helps them realize that there are actions they can take to help in the fight against our climate emergency. As more individuals decide to join this urgent cause, the spark of hope shines brighter and greater action will take place. Those in power will not be able to ignore billions urging them to change. So, this school year I urge youth to take action in any way they can, whether it be organizing protests, signing petitions, attending webinars, contacting elected officials, joining their school's environmental club (maybe even starting one), etc., so we can work together to curve the climate crisis.
