I am a passionate and purpose-driven individual who believes that beauty is far more than appearance. It is confidence, self-expression, healing, and empowerment. My interest in the beauty industry comes from a very personal place. Being raised in a small town in rural Alabama, I have lived in the real-life Cheers bar where everybody knows your name. Although most people say they want to live in smaller towns, it really is not all that the show makes it to be, especially if you are a young person. Living where everybody knows your name really does not help if you do not have the perfect last name or are involved in the right club or sport.
See, growing up, I have never been part of the popular crowd at school and have often struggled with self-confidence. As a result,I have always questioned why I just do not fit in. There were times when I felt overlooked and unsure of myself, which made me realize how deeply appearance and self-image can affect someone’s sense of worth.
Those experiences shaped me in a powerful way. They gave me empathy for others who may feel insecure or unseen, whether they are older or they are younger. These experiences inspired me to become someone who helps people feel confident and valued and to help them feel beautiful inside and out. I understand what it feels like to doubt yourself, and that perspective motivates me to create positive, uplifting experiences for others.
Through my career in the beauty industry, I plan to make a positive impact by promoting inclusivity, authenticity, and self-love. I want to create a safe, welcoming space where every client feels comfortable and respected, regardless of their background or appearance. By continuing to educate myself on diverse techniques, skin tones, hair types, and beauty needs, I aim to provide personalized services that highlight each individual’s unique beauty.
Beyond providing services, I hope to use my voice to encourage others — especially young people who may feel like they don’t fit in — to embrace who they are. I want to show them that confidence can be built and that beauty comes in many forms. Ultimately, my goal is not just to enhance outer beauty, but to help people leave feeling stronger, more confident, and proud of who they are. I am excited for the opportunities I will have in the future in the beauty industry.
