Hello, my name is Allegra Brown and I’m from Tampa, Florida. I am a second generation Italian-American, I grew up in a low income household. I am a first generation college student, as well. I graduated high school with honors and 6 months ahead of my class in January 2014. In high school, I was very active in theatre set design and costume design. I have a passion for caring for people of all ages and abilities. I’ve been a LPN, Licensed Practical Nurse, for 6 years and am highly motivated working towards becoming a Registered Nurse. I have a passion for advocating for people with disabilities and bringing awareness to different conditions. I have a huge heart for serving others and putting others before myself. I’ve demonstrated this in my four year career so far. My mission to become a Registered Nurse has never wavered over time. As well as being a college student, I continue working full time as a home health nurse. Outside of work and school, I am an avid Disney fan and spend a lot of time with my 3 dogs and cat. I also enjoy going swimming in the pool or the beach, and don’t forget your sunscreen! Did you know having 5 or more sunburns doubles your risk for melanoma?
