Hi, my name is Stephanie Allison bell, and I'm a high school senior at the Henry County Virtual Academy. I grew up in Clarksville until 3 months before I turned nine. I'm 17 years old and I love to dance. I decided to minor in Theatre in dance because I can express my feelings in a not-so-violent way through acting. When I play an angry character I can Channel the emotions of anger I have at those who don't believe in me and hear them toward not only playing a character but becoming that character. It helps me cope in a way most people don't understand. Like I said, I use Dance, Music, and Theatre to cope. Getting a major in Theatre won't help me in the long run but if I Major in criminal justice and minor in theater and dance I can still pursue it while having a chance for other jobs as well. I decided on this when I lost my Grandmother a few years ago. The only thing that kept me going. I plan on eventually using my skills in coding to create animated forms of theater that will inspire others with my story. I hope by giving people a chance to hear my story they will realize the power behind art and all of its forms. Touching back on what I said in my previous statement. I have a background in coding and theatre. My thoughts are to use Blockly's character to sort of put on an animated play that explains my story and the reason I went down this path. I always am asked how can i like both Criminal Justice and Theater. and I simply answer It relates all of me. So I'm not using digital art in the way you thought I would, I'm using it to suit me and my needs. If I can share my story with the world in this unique way, maybe just maybe I can convince others that theatre and digital art are not useless. and two maybe just maybe inspire them. just to lift a person out of their misery for a little respite. so that they don't have to stay in the pain I had to deal with all my life when my parents wouldn't accept me for who I am. I hope that people will learn from my project and grow and become interested in the arts I hope you understand what I am trying to get across. I am Stephanie Allison Bell and i am a writer actress and furtre college student I wrote Redemption last year and am working on getting it published. I plan to continue Alex and Aria's story with 4 more installments I learned to write stories using my real-life emotions. I plan on Majoring in theatre performance and production and minor in writing. I am going to insert a excerpt of my book Redemption : Magic over Manhattan book 1 down below I hope you enjoy it is one of my favorites “Bam!” I slam the door I walked in the door when my mom, Supernatural (like a literal witch), actress Nikki Rameno called me. “Ariabella Willow Rameno come here. We got to talk to you.” I hate my name. I generally just shorten my name to Ari or Aria but I like Ari better. I walked into her bedroom.”What’s up, Mom?” Wondering why she is home.”And who is he? I mean, he's cute, but who is he?” “Hi. I’m Mason Ve La Cruso, The werewolf alpha of the Manhattan area. It is nice to finally meet you Ariabella” said the cute guy-Mason-with enthusiasm. “What does this have to do with me? And please I go by either Ari or Aria.”I ask “Nikki, I think you should explain,” said Mason. “Sit down for a moment Ari. As you know I am a witch. But your father, he was a werewolf. The thing is you were born a hybrid - in other words, you have both witch and werewolf attributes. But the Committee of Elders doesn't want you to be a hybrid which is extremely rare. They want you to either be a witch or werewolf and someone has to turn you a month after you turn 16 but it's your choice. Werewolf or witch.” I don't know what to say. I mean my father died before I was born and so I didn't know he was a werewolf. I mean, I am only 11 years old. What should I say? “I guess this is a hard decision. You know what. Can you give me a few hours to decide? I want to be like mom but I like doing things I haven't done before leaning me toward a werewolf. Just wait a little bit.” “Ok honey, I understand. Take as much time as you need.” Mom said 3 hours later “Mom, I think I've decided though I don't want to disappoint you. I choose werewolves.” I say Mason comes into the room with a smile on his face. He is leaning on the doorway so you can see his refined body. “ I always appreciate a new pack member. Are you okay with this Nikki, she will turn at 16, so are you sure?” “She knows how serious this is and I'm sure she didn't choose lightly so yes I'm sure. I have complete faith my daughter will be a faithful member of the pack and make a great mate,” said Mom “Mason, sir, what happens now?”I ask, immediately regretting saying that. I have a sinking feeling that I won't like what I hear. “Well Aria, I think it is fair to have your mom enroll you in Layton Supernatural Prep School or LSPS. It is a school for supernaturals of all ages. There is only 1 human there Paislie Mchansen who. is the daughter of astronaut Kaiden Mchansen. Nikki, I think you should enroll her next semester which starts in January. Are you ok with that Ari and Nikki.” he said “ I agree with you Mason it would be best to send her there but after her birthday on January 12th,” Mom said with a grin. “She does have to take an oath,” he said grimly As I listened to this conversation I was thinking of what to do. Hi, I am Stephanie Allison Bell and hopefully fellow Gryffindor. I have always considered myself to be braver than most people around me. Where they cry and scream I sit calmly. I am not cruel, and I am more easygoing than my family. I love books as that may be a quality of Ravenclaw(intelligence) . I think of myself more like Hermione. I love reading and studying.I take extra classes for fun. Now for Harry Potter logic Like Hermione, I don't care what my friends are going through. I help them. If they lead me to the side of a cliff I will jump to save them. If they lose someone I comfort them. The problem is I possess most of the house's qualities in my personality. Let me give examples I will put this straight. NOT ALL SLYTHERINS ARE EVIL. For Ravenclaw qualities: I'm pretty smart. I have mostly A’s and B’s and a 3.22 GPA. i love to read and find history fascinating. But again there are smart Gryffindors For Hufflepuff qualities, I will always be there for friends and family. The wizarding world promotes uniting and I agree. But Like Cedric, I will die to save people. As far as Slytherin. I got caught up in some bad stuff in middle school. Reading Harry Potter was one of the things that helped me. I connected with the wizarding world on multiple levels. Explained below Here are some of the characters I relate most to: Draco Malfoy and Ron Weasley: Both of these characters have more in common than they think. They both want to be Appreciated mainly by their family. I can relate ever since middle school. I've sort of been like nothing to my family. My parents blamed me for their life going wrong. They are constantly saying I'm not good enough. Just like Draco and Ron ( except for that last part) Luna Lovegood: I love this Character. I can relate to her most. I have always been an outcast. Labeled many different things such as Nerd, Dork, and Bookworm. I've been called Crazy and dumb. And Luna is called Looney. And last but not least Hermione. I am a bookworm at heart. In ninth grade, I finished my health class in 3 days then took Geometry for fun. I took creative writing, Spanish III and French 1 just for fun this year. Because I love to learn and absorb knowledge. In Summary, I have Qualities of multiple houses. But I feel that I belong in Gryffindor.

If everyone had to read one book I think Wonder by RJ Palacio is the winner. Wonder is a story of a 10-year-old Auggie Pullman. He has a facial disorder that kept him from regular school for the longest. Auggie heads to Beecher Prep and is met with annoyance and mean kids. This is a story of loss, life and love. This is a story where everyone. not just the Protagonist has to adapt. From the loss of their dog to learning how to live life. This story has changed the way I think about those kids who are different. They suffer just as much as we do. When Julian is mean to Auggie I can't believe how well Auggie took it into stride. He never gave up. He should be an example to this world. We are too much like Julian when we need to be more like Via or Summer. August was the best through it all though. He had surgery after surgery. Day after Day wondering how bad meeting kids your age will be. Knowing that he's different. He took it in stride. In my opinion, he is the best character in the book He is kind and compassionate. This is why I believe if we all read only one book it would be Wonder. I love a lot of books. But Auggie is the example we all need in this world. To be kind and loving even though we don't want to love that person. To be the bigger person.
