I read books multiple times a week.

I read books multiple times a week.
I have this constant gnawing desire to throw myself into the deep end of every pool. I took my junior year off from college to pursue two rigorous government internships with the Department of Commerce in San Francisco and the U.S. Small Business Administration in Washington, D.C., followed by a six-month adventure studying in China and traveling through Japan, all self-financed through multiple part-time jobs. I later left a coveted product management role to make a 180-degree career shift, moving to rural Taiwan as an English teacher and Fulbright cultural ambassador. I then transitioned into the nonprofit that administered my Fulbright; from grantee to employee, replacing a multi-million-dollar CRM system to modernize future grantee experiences. Every step bred uncertainty. Life didn’t unfold as expected, but I learned to embrace the unknown — continually seeking opportunities to grow personally and professionally, and taking the road less traveled. And I am determined to keep forging bold, unconventional paths, wherever they may lead next.
