I am a lover of dark chocolate, great stories, and Jesus. I find joy in the little moments that make every day special and enjoy making genuine connections with others. I am currently a freshman at California Baptist University, majoring in Special Education and minoring in American Sign Language. I held leadership positions in clubs, including serving as president of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes club during my senior year. I greatly enjoyed planning events and leading meetings for the FCA, and I gained numerous skills from the experience. Through hosting and engaging the community, the club was able to connect with students that I may not have otherwise had the chance to communicate with. Having been influenced by many excellent teachers throughout my educational career, I aspire to support students in the same way that these incredible teachers have inspired me. I am the Assistant Librarian of the Children's Library at my church, a former student leader at my youth group, and a volunteer in the Children's Ministry every other week.
