Bio

I care about creating a safer and more hospitable world for people living in cities in all corners of the world. I care about nature and how humans can lessen their impact on it, as well as how urbanization can be done in a way that helps all life prosper.

Advancing the healthcare field to create a healthier, happier, and more equitable society is a central part of my worldview and life goals. Our job as immigrants to this country has been to work harder than other people so we can create a good future for our families by getting a foothold in this country. I do not want the future generation to work as hard as we had to in order to gain the same benefit. Our healthcare system is geared towards helping those who are rich and born in America, while ignoring the struggles of immigrants and impoverished people who do not have the same resources as non immigrants. I am studying medicine and am in university so that I can help create a world where all people have equal access to healthcare resources regardless of their origin or economic status. I believe that in order to eliminate the gap between the haves and have-nots, the healthcare system will have to be reworked to take into account the needs of underserved communities.
