I have always been drawn to a career in government service due to my unwavering dedication to the continued betterment of our nation. My commitment is evidenced by my nine years of active duty service in the Marine Corps, where I navigated multiple deployments to combat zones. Despite the challenges of juggling military responsibilities with academic pursuits, I maintained a strong academic record and demonstrated discipline, as acknowledged by my instructors. Now, as an Information Technology Cyber Specialist at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), I have rediscovered my passion for cybersecurity and information security, ensuring the protection of our homeland since October 2020.
