    Bold Fuel Your Life Scholarship
My Father fuels my life he pushes me to be the best man I can be. when I go went through a hard time, he inspired me. Sports was always my hobby for 4 years I tried making teams and having the ability to play and finally junior and senior year after all that hard work I made the team became an immediate starter and ended up winning many awards in basketball volleyball cross country and bowling and I'm currently in the process of receiving a division 2 offer in men's volleyball. All I can say is don't give up whether it takes 1 year or more if you want it badly you can do it just put in the blood, sweat, and tears. Nothing is impossible in this world everything is up for grabs it's a matter of if we are strong enough to push ourselves. my dad was the biggest inspiration of my life he pushed me to not give up and made me believe that I can do anything with my life. I'll never forget those words he said to me. After all these accomplishments my favorite one is the senior game, he went up the court with me and in my heart, I felt like finally, I did it. nothing would've happened without my father I'm proud to say he's the biggest inspiration in my life and he will continue to be for the rest of my life.
    Ron Johnston Student Athlete Scholarship
Sports are my life I have always loved sports, but I felt like sports never loved me. I never had an opportunity to demonstrate the skills I had in basketball and volleyball throughout my middle school to sophomore year. I would try out for the teams but either I wouldn't make it, or id be judged by the upper-classmen and made fun of because I wasn't good enough. I tried out for the junior varsity team and the coach and players would humiliate me in front of everyone I wanted to quit and give up and find something new to like. I got home one day, and my dad noticed that I hadn't been playing basketball and volleyball for weeks he walked up to me and asked if I was ok, and I responded I'm not good enough I can't be like the others. my dad took me to his car drove me to the park and just started playing with me and told me I can be anything that I want to be. what he said motivated me to keep pushing and working and just ignore everything the kids would say to me. I ended up transferring schools to Colonial Christian schools. I was super excited because I felt like it'll be a fresh start and I had confidence this time I will make it. After 4 years of trying and working hard finally I made the varsity basketball team and varsity volleyball team. I became an immediate starter junior year having 66 points and 105 rebounds all year. I didn't feel like I did the best I could that year, so I worked even harder throughout the summer and in my senior year I had 167 total points, 189 total rebounds, and 50 assists. I won the most improved player award, and I was third-team all-conference. in volleyball I won the best setter award, first-team all-conference we had a record of 13 wins and 3 losses and won the conference championship. I also won the patriot's pride award in cross country and the team spirit award in bowling.
