Primarily, I come from a low-income community in San Jose, CA. Thus, that has inherited me to think differently in which pursuing a higher degree and being part of a community has led me to inspire fellow peers to attend to college only so they can have a profession and contribute into doing something better for the world and posterity. Not only that, but it is a guaranteed job if you have a higher education which would give you a sustainable financial income. That has been my inspiration to come to college and therefore pursue a degree in engineering in the hopes that I can give back to my community and also family, so that I can make an impact upon sustainability. I have been able to convince one of my close friends from high school to go to college thus he did attend SJSU, to major in finance. In which we had multiple conversations about his doubts in which regarded paying for school and looking at the outcome of having a degree to his name after he graduated. He was interested in business because he wanted to express his expertise in an organization that he would be proud to be part of and therefore that has contributed to a lot of his inspirations to pursue to a higher degree. This has inspired me to be the person to be passionate about others and try to go to school and therefore have an expertise in trying to do something that would benefit you and the world. With that in mind with every family member this had made passion to talk with them and convince them the benefits and that nothing in life should be easy and thus is should be "easier" through arduous work and passion that would make it worth it eventually.
