Actively living out my faith in my day-to-day life involves integrating my Christian values into every decision and action I take. As a Pro-Life advocate, I believe in the sanctity of all human life from conception to natural death. This belief fundamentally shapes my interactions, choices, and the way I engage with society. Jesus' love extends to the unborn, as He cherishes every human life from the moment of conception, recognizing the inherent worth and dignity bestowed upon each person by God. His teachings on love and compassion compel us to protect and nurture the most vulnerable, including those yet to be born, affirming their right to life. My faith has been essential in shaping my future goals and career path. Pursuing a degree in political science is a deliberate choice, driven by my desire to influence public policy in a way that aligns with my Pro-Life values. Understanding the intricacies of political systems, governance, and public policy equips me with the knowledge to advocate effectively for life-affirming laws and regulations. After completing my political science degree, I plan to pursue a law degree; this path will further empower me to protect the most vulnerable among us, from the unborn to the elderly. As a lawyer, I plan to specialize in areas of law that impact life issues, such as family law, human rights law, or constitutional law. By leveraging legal expertise, I can work towards creating and upholding laws that defend the dignity and rights of every human being. My education in political science provides a solid foundation in understanding how policies are formed and implemented, and this knowledge has proved crucial for enacting meaningful change. Through my studies, I am learning how to analyze legislation, understand the political landscape, and develop strategies to advocate for Pro-Life policies effectively. As I transition to law school, my focus will be on gaining a deep understanding of legal principles and honing my skills in legal advocacy; I plan to use my legal education to challenge laws that undermine the value of life and to support legislation that protects all stages of life. Whether through litigation, legal counseling, or policy advocacy, my goal is to defend the rights of the unborn. My faith is the driving force behind my commitment to the Pro-Life cause- it influences my daily actions, shapes my future aspirations, and guides my educational pursuits. A strong foundation in political science and law will effectively prepare me to not only advocate for life, but for the love of Jesus, working towards a society that values and protects all human beings from conception.
