My major is family and human services, my life goal is to become a social working and help kids find homes where they feel loved and cared for. I have had the opportunity to work at a camp for several summers. I see first hand the pain and heartache that kids endure. I have wiped the tears and sadly had to fill out paperwork that is heartbreaking to put in print. The foundation of my life is Christ and I know each of us are created in His image. But many kids do not know this truth and they do not know of His love. Every child deserves to know that they matter, that they have a future, and that people do love them and want the best for them. Ultimately I want them to know God and His love. This scholarship will help me to achieve the goal of becoming a social worker. I am responsible for my college funding and I have worked hard to save and prepare to get through college hardships that could occur. I appreciate consideration
