I am from Eastman ga and currently attending dodge county high school. I choose to go to trade school after high school because I want to do welding and be certified in it. I will also be the first one in my family to go to college which I am proud of it. I fell in love with welding ever since I tried it out for the first time. I’m currently doing dual enrollment for Oconee fall line technical college for welding and I’m planing to continue on attending Oconee fall line technical college in Dublin ga after I graduate high-school which is in 3 months since it’s close to home and I won’t have to drive to long to get there. I want to go to trade school for welding so when ever I get done with it and graduate from Oconee I can start working at a work shop or at a construction site which ever one I end up at I know that the experience that I gain from it will help me to achieve my goal of owning my own shop. So that later on in my life I can open up my own welding work shop so I can retire my mom from working her butt off and let her enjoy her life and not worry about money and let my older brother have the chance to attend college and do whatever program he wants to do like he’s letting me be able to do. I also want to be able to buy land for my Family and to let my dogs to have space to run around. I also want to have house or build one so I can move my family out of our current home. The scholarship money that the weld our soul scholarship is offering will help my family pay for my schooling so my family doesn’t have to pay to much and to lessen the financial burden that my family is going have to deal with. Until I make it big and open up my own welding work shop. The scholarship would help me tremendously towards my future goals that I have planned for myself. I will make my goals come true because I am going to work at them non stop until I achieve them and help out my family like how they have helped me through out my life.
